I am currently working as school psychologist with an Educational Specialist Degree in curriculum and instruction. I currently looking to fill summer tutoring spots. I am most experienced in providing phonics based reading intervention for children diagnosed with specific learning disabilities and dyslexia. Students with ADHD need help with "executive functioning skills" or the ability to stay organize, plan, start and finish tasks, etc. I have provided direct intervention to teach these student develop this skills and find a plan that works for him/her. I've also provided general homework help for student grade K to 8th grade. I can help your child if they have significant deficit in reading or they need skills retaught prior to starting his or her next grade. I have several families that I have been working with this year who have seen great improvement in their children's grades, skills, and self-confidence. References upon request.
