About Lauren

I have experience working with kids of all ages. I began babysitting at the age of 16 which led to nannying two children, ages 3 and 5, for three years. I became very close to them and was their primary caregiver throughout my first year of college. I even went on vacations with their family to help out during date nights and in general. After I graduated from college, I began nannying for another family (two kids ages 5 and 7) for a little over a year. I would pick the kids up from school, bring them to after school activities, help with homework, dinner, and bedtime routines. I would also occassionally help get the kids to doctors/dentist appointments and would do light cleaning, cooking, and meal prep. In 2021, I got a job with a non-profit in Washington state as a Food Educator. I was essentially a garden teacher for a local elementary school. I taught garden lessons to grades K-5. This gave me experience working with kids in an educational setting.
