About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren. I'm an elementary educator with over a decade of experience offering tutoring services in Literacy, Math, Test Prep, and ESL to students in grades K-6. I'm licensed in Elementary (1-6), ESL (PreK-6), and Reading Education (All Levels). While I offer tutoring in multiple subjects, as a certified reading specialist trained in the Orton Gillingham approach, I am equipped to provide specialized literacy support to students who need it. I have served as a classroom teacher in public and charter schools in and around Boston for the last 11 years, providing social-emotional and academic support or enrichment based on each individual's strengths and needs. This includes providing specialized instruction to English language learners and students with IEPs. My priorities are creating a safe, welcoming environment and fostering academic growth and independence.
