About Laurel

With over four years of early-career experience in group homes, summer camps, and private childcare, I bring a dependable, nurturing, and creative approach to caring for children. My college background in art, psychology, and early childhood development helps me create engaging, age-appropriate activities and supportive environments. I'm a patient and attentive caregiver who enjoys keeping children active and curious through creative projects, outdoor play, reading, and learning. I'm comfortable following household routines and rules, preparing healthy meals and snacks, helping with light housekeeping, and communicating with parents in whatever way works best for their family. While much of my career has been in creative marketing, I'm intentionally returning to work that has always been meaningful to me: caring for children and supporting families. As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to have someone warm, reliable, and trustworthy caring for your child.
