About Laura

Hello! My name is Laura. I have an associates degree in Deaf Studies/American Sign Language and a bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology. Including the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program, I have worked as a classroom aid, pre-k through 5th, in various settings and with differing disabilities. Most recently, I was a speech therapist and was primarily working with high school students, some with speech sound disorders, but the majority with language delays. This school year, I decided not to return for a full time position as I had surgery in March. I will be substituting, instead, and hope to take on babysitting/tutoring/pet sitting jobs as well. I loved working with all ages, and got along wonderfully with staff and students alike!
