Hello families! My name is Laura and it's lovely to virtually meet you (for now)! I have been a career nanny turned house manager since I started my professional life 13 years ago. The families I have worked with have been as different as you could imagine, and I have loved being welcomed by each one. Most I still visit and send cards to each year! Currently I am seeking a family (or multiple if the schedules align) that need between 5-25 hours each week. My schedule can be flexible for weekday mornings or evenings but mainly this would be a weekend gig. I am happy to be the new bestie to your littles and pets or be the person who meal preps and resets your home for the week ahead. I'm a do-it-all type! My inbox is always open and checked daily! We hired Laura with another family for a nanny share for our families' four kids during the 2020-2021 pandemic school year. She's wonderful, and all four kids adore her. She's patient yet firm, fun and creative, flexible and reliable, and a great communicator. She helped the kids with their schooling but didn't feed them the answers, encouraged critical thinking, and got them out of the house regularly! She took them on walks and bike rides and other outings, engaged them in art projects and plays--they even made a movie! Laura is a gem. We are so lucky to have found her.
