About Laura

Hello! My name is Laura and I have been a nanny for the last year. I have had experience with child care for over 10 years and am comfortable with all ages. I am currently in my online masters program in nutrition and have a special interest in childhood nutrition. I absolutely love cooking and baking and would be happy to help with cooking and meal planning for the kids/family. I have a car with insurance and a clean driving record. I practice from a gentle parenting point of view and make it a goal of mine to teach children how to communicate and understand their emotions. I always aim to take kids out of the house at least 2x a day to the park, zoo, museum, and other activities to ensure they are being mentally stimulated and are given the opportunity to explore their surroundings in a safe environment. I have experience with newborns/infants and it is actually my favorite age! I would love to connect with you and see if I fit in with your family.
