The happiest time of my life was when I was raising my children. For the past 15 months I have been a nanny for a family with a little girl who recently turned two and their two dogs. We now claim each other as members of the family. Sadly, but also on a happy note their child will start attending daycare and preschool this Fall. I am hoping to find the perfect fit as my current position has been just that for all of us. In my prior career I managed dental practices for over 22 years. I received extensive training in CPR, first aid, blood born pathogens and infection control yearly. I love children and the joy they bring to the world. I like to read, sing, and play. I currently take A swimming at the pool and lake. We attend library tot time, run errands, go on nature walks and frequent local parks. I am looking for 24-32 hours per week but can be flexible . I can provide kindness and care for your family please message me if you feel I might be a great fit. Thank you.
We feel incredibly lucky to have had Laura as our daughter’s nanny for a little over a year, from May 2024 through August 2025. Our daughter was just over a year old when Laura began caring for her, and Laura quickly became much more than a nanny — she became part of our family. Our daughter even called her “Nana,” which speaks to the warmth and closeness they developed. Laura is a natural with children. She is calm, patient, nurturing, and truly enjoys spending time with kids. Laura cared for our daughter in our home during the day while I worked. She handled all of the daily responsibilities with care and reliability — preparing meals, putting her down for naps, reading books, doing art projects, playing learning games, and keeping her engaged throughout the day. Laura is also incredibly responsible and dependable. She was always punctual and consistently showed up ready to create a positive and engaging day for our daughter. What really set Laura apart was how intentional she was about creating enriching experiences. She regularly found local activities for our daughter, including toddler storytime at our local library, trips to parks and beaches, and visits to splash parks in the summer. She made sure our daughter had opportunities to learn, explore, and interact with the world around her. As a first-time parent, I also appreciated how informative and supportive Laura was. She helped me better understand the developmental stages our daughter was going through and offered thoughtful insights that helped me feel more confident as a parent. Even after she moved on to another family when our employment needs no longer aligned, we’ve stayed in touch. She has visited with the child she now cares for and has also watched our daughter for us on several weekends. Each time, I feel completely confident knowing my daughter is in loving and capable hands. Laura is warm, personable, responsible, and deeply caring. Any family would be fortunate to have her caring for their children, and I recommend her wholeheartedly. I would be happy to speak with any family considering Laura as a nanny. — Jessica
