I have raised two daughters who are now 24 and 26 yrs old. I have always loved kids, and babies, and easily connect with them. I have been providing full-time care for a family with a 5 yr old and 2 yr old for the past 5 years and would also join on all the vacations. I've been caring for children for over 25 years. I was a foster parent from 2012 to 2015 and worked with 6 families before joining Care and 8 since signing up in 2016. They have all been a great experience and I really enjoyed my time with them. I'm dependable, honest, caring and nurturing. I am Trustline Certified (CA) and current with my First-Aid and CPR. I am comfortable with pets, I do not smoke, I have a clean driving record and background check, current FBI fingerprinting, and child abuse clearances. Laura started working for our family when my son was 3 months old. When my son first met her during the interview he immediately felt comfortable with her and was willing to be held by her and play with her. As a first time Mom, Laura helped to ease my anxiety about returning to work by sending me pictures and text message updates of his happy face playing. Laura was working for us during the lock down so I also had a year of her helping us while I was working from home. I was able to watch first hand how amazing she is. She came up with meals and activities that I hadn't thought of. When she arrived each morning I did not need to leave instructions, she knew what to do. She did craft projects, sang songs, went on walks, she would let him spend 30 minutes just watching ants or leaves or clouds and let him just be curious. She would cook my son nutritious meals that always included fruit and vegetables. Any family who hires Laura is lucky to have her.
