About Laura

As a Certified Teacher, I'm passionate about supporting families by providing a nurturing and educational environment for their children. With over 20 years of childcare experience, I have a strong understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate activities. My patient, creative, and friendly nature allows me to connect easily with children of all ages. I believe in open communication and follow the parents' preferred method to discuss their child's day and address any concerns. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and ensuring a safe and structured environment. From playing outdoor sports to engaging in board games and puzzles, I enjoy a variety of activities that encourage physical, cognitive, and social development. I love field trips to the Science Center, Children's Museum, public libraries and parks. I am an EC teacher by day. I specialize in learning disabilities, ADHD, and Autism. I have been a summer nanny for six years with twins.
