About Laura

I am currently a full time para & sub at various schools within Missouri. As such, I am available full time during the summer to provide care for your children. I have a degree in elementary and reading education and have previously taught multiple ages between preschool and fifth grade. I am a mother of three adult children whom I homeschooled during their elementary years. I have been a nanny for the last five summers for elementary aged children. I provided transportation from summer school, tutored in reading, assisted in virtual school, attended various summer reading programs, took small field trips, played games, and spent time at the pool. In addition, I have taught VBS and spent many hours in the church nursery. During college, I worked at the on-campus daycare and have also worked at the UMKC Berkley Child Development Center. I greatly enjoy working and spending time with children of all ages and look forward to the opportunity to meet you.
