Laura has been incredible for my apartment. I have a loft apartment around 1400 sq ft and am super busy so I came across this care.com site from a post when I was looking to find housekeepers that aren't company owned, as I wanted the same person each time and not a rando so I would be more comfortable over time and they would get in an easier routine. The first time Laura came, I had to leave for work so was certainly nervous having a stranger inside my home without me, but I also didn't want to be in their business and build trust that way if they are going to be here for the long haul. I had a few specific areas I wanted more attention to (under my sink and my shower). It's an older apartment so with sink/pipe issues, it got pretty bad overtime. The shower just had stains from over time and just not good from my lack of upkeep. Laura messaged me when she was done, gave me a few tips/etc. When I got home, I was blown away at how well those areas and the rest of my home looked. I'm a pretty organized and keep things picked up to begin with, but this really felt good. I had told her aside from the dusting/vacuuming/cleaning with products to do whatever she saw might need attention. I hadn't thought about windows or anything like that on my patio or upstairs. She cleaned the inside and outside of them, the curtain things, folded my blankets on the couch, stuff I did have laying around, put them together...it was fantastic. Oh, and made my bed! That made me happy as I rarely do. Nothing beats that feeling when you are getting ready for bed. The 2nd time, I didn't feel like going into work because I was a little tired and fortunate enough to have the option to work from home whenever. I felt bad for Laura, but she did not mind at all and did her thang. Laura is also on-time! I have to keep on my toes because I like my sleep and will snooze lol I cannot recommend Laura enough. This has just been an excellent experience for me and now we are on a bi-weekly schedule. Thank you, Laura. P.S. whomever hires Laura, you better not pay her more than me and take my time slots! jk jk she deservers more than I have
