About Laura

Retired Child Welfare Specialist/ DCF case worker. CPR and First Aid certified. I'd describe my personality as patient, outgoing, and caring. I like working with kids because I believe they can shape the world. I'm looking for a job that I can love and not feel like I'm working. I started working with kids full time after I became a camp counselor for the YMCA in my teen years. I loved it! In my spare time, I like to take care of my animals. One thing you should know about me is I fall back on my Spanish culture a lot. I'm also fluent in Spanish. My skills include patience, communication and technology!
