About Laura

I am 38 years old and recently moved down to the area from Fort Worth to live with my boyfriend and his 3 teenage girls. In Fort Worth I was a Realtor, Notary, small business owner and did companion care with autistic adults. Now that I am in a new phase of my life, I am able to lean in to my natural caretaker role more while I get to know my new area and life. Growing up I had an autistic little brother and from the age of 6 on, had grandparents live with us and helped care for them as they aged and until they moved onto hospice. I taught swimming lessons to special needs children and adults which led to babysitting and becoming a nanny for several families with special needs children. In college I was a house manager for a family with special needs children and had their elderly parents living with them. I run errands, house sit, pet sit, meal prep (not a chef) handle medication, organize, do light cleaning, drive to appointments and many other odd jobs that are needed.
