Hello! I have been away from Care. com for several years because as one assignment finished word of mouth secured other opportunities. I enjoy working with seniors and the very elderly. My non-intrusive personality seems to put people at ease while assisting them in their homes. I have also assisted clients during their hospital stay, rehab and in nursing homes. I have experience to meet most every need. I also have much non-paid experience caring for a quadriplegic brother and mother with mild dementia and mobility issues. I have past certifications in CPR and First Aid. I love children (former therapeutic foster parent) and pets (former Humane Society volunteer). Because I strive to be very flexible, I decided to leave the availability calendar blank. I love enriching the lives of others, and would very much appreciate the opportunity to care for your loved ones.

Laura was a wonderful caregiver for my 93 year old, visually impaired home bound dad. She prepared meals, helped with medication and hygiene, light cleaning and laundry. But most importantly, she provided companionship and company for my dad who was unable to leave his home. Laura was very dependable and flexible as my dad's needs changed and he needed more care. She communicated daily with me and my siblings to keep us informed of dad's day. I would highly recommend her and know you would be lucky to have her help.
