About Laura

I am an occupational therapist with years of experience in acute care, home care, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities. I thoroughly enjoy working with the aging population, and am seeking a part time caregiver position. Although I will not be providing actual therapy sessions or services, I am skilled in tweaking home set-ups for safety, promoting appropriate levels of independence and meaningful daily activities that promote happiness and a fulfilling lifestyle. In addition to providing companionship, I am able to assist with all aspects of self care (feeding, bathing, dressing, hobbies, light exercise, meal-preparation, mobility, transportation to/from appointments, medication management, light housekeeping, laundry and errands. I am also pet friendly and can assist with pet care while in the home, if needed. I have a master's degree in occupational therapy (graduated 2016), clean driving record, reliable transportation, and am a non-smoker.
