Laura has worked for us for 5 months, taking care of our now 11-month-old son for 15 hours a week. She is always on time, arrives with a smile, and spreads that smile to the whole family while she is with us. She is intuitive with young children - locks eyes with them and plays instinctively. She is gentle but firm with discipline (the little that we have needed with our son being so young). She has instilled a love of reading in our son by patiently reading to him in a clear but animated voice. She has even taught me a thing or two about baby care, because she has experience from working in a daycare as well as the older sister to several young ones. She is eager to help and will figure out what needs to be done and do it. When she leaves, the baby is happy, changed, fed, and the house is cleaner than when she arrived. I honestly don't know how she does it. I can't recommend her highly enough.
