Hello! My name is Laura, and I am 28 years old. I am the oldest of three, so I am naturally a care-giver at heart. I have been babysitting/nannying/care-giving since I was 13, and even before that by helping my parents with my younger siblings. In 2018, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from Roberts Wesleyan and I also have an Associates in Liberal Arts degree from Monroe Community College. I am very diverse with the abilities I posses, and I am always willing to learn and try new ways of doing things. I have abundant experience working in formal and informal childcare settings with various children and families in the Rochester area. Additionally, I have experience working with children who have mental health disorders, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, behavioral concerns and autism. I have worked with children from infancy up to age 18, so I am able and willing to help care for any age(s) your child(ren) may be! I look forward to meeting you!

Laura has been an amazing caretaker for our son. She has watched him from when he was 4 months old and is a life saver! She truly cares about our boy and has worked to teach him colors, numbers, and letters. She reads to him every day and takes him out to the park as often as the weather allows. Laura is extremely dependable and organized. She anticipates our needs, is proactive, and flexible. I have a nut allergy so she goes above and beyond to deep clean whenever our son eats nuts so I don't have to worry! Thanks to her our son started talking early, is walking, and a happy confident boy! She is great with our two dogs too and they love her! Laura has the rare balance of being fun, loving, smart, responsible, and supportive! She really became part of the family and is such a blessing!
