A Great Babysitter/Nanny/Elder Care (Midtown West) Fantastic, respectable and mature woman with great references that is a skilled in the care of children and/or the elderly. Skills include cooking, laundry, cleaning and entertaining, accountancy and admin. I am a very young at heart 51-year-old British woman. I have been a nanny since moving to the USA nearly 3 years ago and thoroughly enjoy it! In the UK I was a doctor's asst. for many years where I acquired knowledge and certificates in first aid, CPR, Aphylaxis, etc., but unfortunately these will all be expired as they only last two years. I also did the basic accounts for the doctor's surgery and ordering and stock taking of drugs and medical supplies for most of my time there. I kept myself very busy and also worked part time for a 90-year-old gentleman as his personal asst. for about 2 years. I cooked for him, took him to appointments, shopped for him and accompanied him to social events etc. I also worked twice a month for social group for the blind in my area, organizing outings and activities. The group was primarily elderly and I gained a great deal working as a volunteer for this group. I am kind, patient and fun. I have loads of energy and love singing, reading and playing. I am the mother of three grown up children and three grandchildren and know how a busy family works and what might be needed. I am a huge advocate of healthy eating and cooking good healthy food wherever possible. I am punctual, very well organized and efficient and can prioritize tasks well.
