About Laura

I have over 20 years of experience caring for children and families of different cultures. I love learning about the family and the children to establish a deeper and more personal relationship. I am open to a position that requires travel, as I have in past positions. I have experience helping with multiple children including twins, newborns and some special needs children. I am very active with children. I have a personal love of music, along with playing outdoors, painting, reading and just helping mold the children into the the best person possible. That's why I enjoy working with kids so much. They open your eyes and help you see this world with wonder and complete joy. They help you to delight in how beautiful this world is. It keeps me focused on on the positive and simple things in life. I love teaching them new things and influencing their lives for the best and just pouring all my love and time into every precious moment spent with them.
