I not only spent years raising my own 3 children, but I've also been a professional newborn nanny for over 20 years. 

Many of my families suffered greatly from lack of sleep during my nanny years. So 8 years ago, after extensive training. 

As much as I love my job as an infant sleep consultant, I missed directly caring for those sweet newborns. So in 2023 I added overnight newborn support to my resume. Being able to combine my expertise of newborn sleep with the role of a support nanny for parents of newborns has been super rewarding. Many of the babies naturally grow into great sleep habits without any official sleep training.

Laura was our nanny along with another family in a nannyshare. She can handle two babies very comfortably and learned them both very quickly. She is kind, gentle, loving, grounded and just has a way with infants. She was an amazing resource for me as a first time mom and I felt very comfortable leaving our new baby with her. Laura was INCREDIBLE with my baby girl (& the other baby in our nannyshare). Today was our last day with her and I’m terribly sad to see her go (as is the other mom). Laura was the most kind, loving & sweet soul and the babies adored their time with her. She was prompt, a great communicator and so encouraging. Laura is a godsend. She has such a nurturing, non-judgmental, calming demeanor. My baby relaxes easily in her arms and I feel 100% confident in her ability to take excellent care of him while we get some much needed sleep!! She is extremely knowledgeable about the newborn phase and has been so helpful in trying to problem solve our little one’s sleep and tummy struggles. We couldn’t recommend her more! 

We hired Laura for newborn night care after our fourth baby was born. 
At the time we had a six-year-old, five-year-old, and 13 month old toddler. Things were so busy during the day that we just couldn’t function without good night sleep. Laura started with us when our son was a week old. So far he had been most difficult newborn with sleep. Little did we know that the next three months we would be navigating reflux, and significant lip and tongue ties which caused a lot of spit up and required a lot of holding after meals. This midnight, so consuming and exhausting. Laura was here to take on that load for us at night so that we could function during the day. it was the best investment into our health and sanity we could ever make, and she was such a caring and gentle caregiver for Samuel. She ended up staying with us until Samuel was four months old. His sleep was transformational by the time that she left. He had gone from sleeping  20 to 30 minutes at a time with multiple wings throughout the night to stretches of eight hours with one feed by four months. We are so blessed to have found her, and that she was a part of our journey! 

Laura has been a fantastic nanny to our newborn as we navigate first time parenthood. She brings a very calming presence to nannying, which helped us navigate our baby’s first few months. Laura cares for our 2 month old as I returned to work. She brings a holistic approach (more than just immediate baby needs but also consideration of how the “now” affects long term). We found her expertise in infant sleep a great resource, and very highly recommend her! 

We hired Laura as a night nanny to our newborn being that we also have an almost 3 year old as well, we weren't sure how we were going to keep up with the toddler on no sleep! Laura's services have been invaluable as it allowed me to rest and recover after birth and most importantly I am able to enjoy the newborn stage much more this go around! 

Laura has been great with our newborn son, I trust her completely and go most nights without ever needing to even check the baby's monitor. At one point our newborn caught a cold from our toddler and Laura sat up with him all night to keep him comfortable. Laura is also great at offering advice either with day to day care or what is best for all of our schedules. I would certainly hire her again if we need to sleep train (but so far with Laura's help our newborn is quickly adapting to a sleep schedule and we may not need to sleep train!) 

We hired Laura for overnight help with our newborn. We have 2 older kids so were looking for someone we could trust to give us a few nights a week of solid sleep. Transparently, we were a little nervous to trust someone else with our fragile little baby. That being said, we met Laura and immediately loved her overall calming nature, as well as her knowledge/expertise of babies and sleep. Laura is absolutely amazing and was the right person to help us through a big family transition. She was flexible to work with our schedule, always on time, and our baby boy was sleeping (almost entirely) through the night by only 8 weeks old. I was able to sleep soundly every night she came over because I knew he was in good hands! I could not recommend Laura enough, we're so grateful for her help!

Laura was a lifesaver! Our almost 4 month old was waking up almost every 90min most nights and needing constant soothing. My husband and I were desperate for more sleep. Laura provided lots of helpful sleep education and constant support throughout our time together. I felt very clear on how to carry out the sleep plan she created for him. By the end of a few nights, he was sleeping 11-12 hours and only waking up 1-2 times to eat. It was a miracle! 
We are so grateful to be getting more sleep and so is our baby.
