I'm currently a Special Education Teacher for Deaf/Hard of Hearing children. I've been around children all my life and started babysitting when I was about 13 years old. Before moving to California, I used to babysit for my cousins and for one family on a regular basis. The only reason for cutting back on babysitting was due to moving for college and then moving out of state. Since moving to California I haven't babysat much, other than the occasional request from a couple of friends. I have watched my best friend's children from time to time in the past; one of which has Autism.
