I have worked for four years with an adult with severe autism , apraxia and was non-speaking Derek needed to be helped with feeding, dressing, bathing, and given his medication. It was one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had. He was also taken out into the community to enjoy activities, like festivals, live Music and hiking I also have some experience taking care of my father when he was diagnosed with a neurological disorder. With that came dementia like symptoms, and loss of use of his body. Ultimately, he did have to go into a nursing home. I have a clean criminal background and driving record.
