About Laura

I retired from a senior level HR position at a local university in 2016. I have worked a number of interesting jobs since then, including a brief tenure as a flight attendant and an HR position with a start-up that provided after school enrichment programs for grades K-8th. Both of these positions required extensive background checks. I have two young grandchildren who live in New York, but we see each other frequently throughout the year. For a few months during the pandemic, I worked with a local family to transport their children home from one distant and one local school each day. The children and I bonded very quickly. Most children seem to like me and it's mutual. I enjoy reading to them and playing games and doing puzzles. I would do best in a home without dogs I am looking for a position where I can help a family with some of their after school childcare needs.
