Hi, my name is Laura A.! I am an Environmental Scientist at RTI International looking for part-time work. I am a dog mom and aunt to my favorite (and only) nephew. In my free time, I love to read, bake, and spend time outdoors! My experience caring for children began while I was in high school. I babysat twin boys, who were 3 years old at the time, one night a week for a year as well as taught dance classes to children of all ages for 3+ years ranging from ages 3-15. Most recently, I was a part-time nanny for a 4 and 6-year-old for 6 months and for a 2/3-year-old for 15 months. I love caring for children and working with families to do so. Pets are always an added bonus!

Laura was our part-time nanny for 6 months last year. She was fabulous with the kids, completely dependable, and extremely accommodating. She would sometimes bring little gifts for the kids or supplies to make crafts. Laura ended up accepting a full-time day job and had to leave us but should she ever find herself nannying/babysitting again, I would highly recommend her!
