About Laura

Hi, my name is Laura. I am a retired professional in my early 60s with a flexible schedule & over 20 years of childcare experience, specializing in infants and newborns. I recently moved to Valley Cottage and am very familiar with the surrounding area. I have provided long-term care for families, including working over six years with a family in Pelham Manor, caring for their son from age 7 through his teenage years. More recently, I cared for a premature newborn overnight five nights a week until she slept through the night, then full-time during the day for two years until daycare. I also cared for an infant boy from 6 months old for over a year until the family relocated. My experience includes bottle feeding, diapering, sleep routines, developmental play, outdoor outings, bottle prep and sterilization, baby laundry, and nursery organization.
