About Laura

I've had 31+ years experience (since I was a child myself) working w/ children (0-18). I have a degree in Elementary Education (w/ endorsements in ESOL & Reading) & hold a TN K-5 Teaching License. From 2nd-11th grades, I volunteered annually for Daughters Go To Work With Your Mothers Day in my mom's pre-k class. I've volunteered since childhood in Children's Church, children's choir, VBS, & several other children's activities. I've volunteered in nurseries & daycares, even spending the majority of my time for 2 years at the church preschool & childcare programs. I've also volunteered at drama camps & day camps. I recently babysat regularly for 2 families w/ 2 young children each. Also, for about a year, I helped raise my friend's daughter (3-4). I love children & enjoy watching them grow & learn! I'm a good Christian who will love your children & help raise them to be wonderful people! I'm a non-smoker & will only work in a non-smoking home. I look forward to working w/ your family!
