At the age of 17 I started out working in a nursing home at the age of 17 as an dietary aide. From that point on I knew this was something I wanted to do, working with the senior population. The aging process can be complex for some and this is why seniors need caregivers like me that provide quality direct patient care. I received a Bachelor degree in Human Services/Gerontology, in addition to my Masters in Healthcare Administration. Even though I'm no longer licensed as a CNA due to work obligations, I still enjoy with helping and assisting families and their loved ones.
