I'm a warm, nurturing and thoughtful caregiver with both professional and personal experience supporting children and families. I think childcare is a lot more than keeping children occupied. It's creating a safe, loving and nourishing environment where children feel understood, valued and deeply listened to. I also strive to have the children I spend time with uphold their own agency and autonomy. I'm patient, playful and creative, and enjoy engaging children through imaginative play, reading, outdoor activities and homework support. I'm observant and proactive, with an ability to anticipate needs and proactively communicate with the parents. Through my own experience as a guardian, I understand the often invisible emotional and mental load of motherhood, and how meaningful it is to have an extra pair of dependable and trusted hands.
