About Lasharah

Hi there! I'm LaSharah. I truly love working with young kids, and being able to be a part of their journey to independence. My style of care is to approach each child as the individual that they are, learning about them, giving them all the tools they need, and coming to work as the best version of myself each time to help them grow. I'm a inclusivity focused, kind, compassionate, and caring person born and raised in the North Carolina. As the oldest of 1 sibling with 3 younger cousins, I have been caring for children for 12 years. I have experience working with infants and toddlers, and experience with school age children volunteering with grades K-3. I am a student recently earning my degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Mars Hill University. I have taken classes in and have an understanding of child development (speech/motor/social skills and milestones) and child nutrition standards, and am currently enrolled in a Speech Language Pathology degree program.
