About Larkyn

Hi! I am an alumni of Penn State with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood education and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I have over 10 years experience working with infants to young teens. I studied and worked in a child development lab 10th through 12th grade of high school. My senior year of high school I was a teacher's aide 3 days a week at an elementary school. My sophomore year of college I assisted in one of the preschool classrooms on campus. I also have babysat for a few families in State College with a wide range of ages. I student taught in a Kindergarten inclusion classroom for a year and I have been teaching third grade for two years. I have my CPR, and all of the required background clearances. I am looking part-time work caring for children. I love to be around children and enjoy helping them learn and grow.
