About Lara

I'd describe my personality as creative, warm-hearted, & trustworthy. I like working with kids because I learn from the children I am working with everyday. I admire their endless energy, creativity, & honesty. Helping children, working with them, as well as building a relationship with them (and their families) is so rewarding to me! I started working with kids when I was in high school. I was in a Child Development program for all 4 years & I also occasionally babysat for a family who lived in my town when needed. I than continued to babysit/nanny all throughout college mostly in NYC. In my spare time, I like to draw. I am very passionate about art, I find it extremely therapeutic. I also love spending quality time with my friends, listening to music, & being outdoors. One thing you should know about me is that I am responsible & super flexible. I am someone who is reliable. In terms of flexibility, I am really open about scheduling. My skills include patience & compassion.
