About Lara

Hi, I hold an undergraduate degree from a Scottish university and recently received my Master's in art history. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and have tutored French, history, and art history students since high school. I was also a teaching assistant throughout my time at university and want to help students excel. I'd describe my personality as diligent, energetic, and kind. I like tutoring because I like to help students flourish and grow "into" subjects that they may initially struggle with. With all education: persistence pays. I'm looking for a job that complements my current work schedule and is a conducive learning environment. I started tutoring French when I was 16-years-old. In my spare time, I like to go to the Met. One thing you should know about me is I expect the students to be curious. My skills include being patient, adapting to various learning styles, and synthesizing information well.
