About Lara

Hi! I'm a registered nurse and work full-time. I'm also a newly empty nester, and now that I have some extra time on the weekends, I thought babysitting would be a great way to spend some of that time. I've always loved kids and really miss having them around. I'm caring, dependable, and patient, and I'm comfortable with kids of all ages. Being a nurse also means I'm used to staying calm and handling whatever comes up. I'd love to help out families who need a reliable babysitter for a date night, errands, or just a little time to themselves. I know how hard it can be to find someone you feel comfortable leaving your children with, and I'd want you to feel completely at ease. I'd describe my personality as responsible, caring and outgoing. I like working with kids because I love their energy and curiosity, and I enjoy watching them learn, grow, and have fun. I also miss having kids around!
