About Laniya

Hello! My name is Laniya, I live in Brooklyn NY and I am a dedicated mother of three girls who are 7, 4, and 1-year-old. My passion for working with children extends beyond parenting, as I have significant experience in roles that involve engaging with kids of all ages. I've served as a Tutor at the 1199 Youth Empowerment Program, where I supported children's learning and development. Additionally, my role as a Camp Counselor at Youth on the move allowed me to create a fun, educational, and safe environment for children during the summer months. My skills include effective communication with children and their family, strong organizational abilities, creativity, empathy, and leadership. These experiences have equipped me with the ability to build strong bonds with children, helping them grow and learn about the world around them.
