About Lani

Experience: 10 yrs

Hi there! I'm Lani, a nurturing, dependable caregiver who believes every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and soothed. I specialize in creating calm, consistent routines and guide emotional growth through mindfulness and play-based learning. I've spent 10 years working with children, beginning as a daycare assistant and lifeguard before becoming a swim instructor for ages 6mo-4yo. I love working with kids because their joy for life and curiosity reignites my own sense of wonder. Parents describe me as warm and patient, someone who brings both heart and structure to their home. My goal is to be a trusted extension of your family's support system, offering the peace of mind that your little one is cared for with genuine love and professional attentiveness.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Lani is! She has an incredible disposition for working with kids- warm, fun, supportive, and silly while also knowing how to hold boundaries. She is extremely responsible and detail-oriented. She is an excellent communicator and I feel completely at ease knowing she’s taking care of my kids. I highly recommend Lani to any family looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.
