About Lane

Hi there! I am looking for a part-time caregiving job from now until late August. I graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. I'm hoping to attend graduate school in the Fall and may be able to continue caregiving depending on circumstances. I've always loved caring for children and started babysitting when I was in 9th grade. Through high school, I've taken classes such as peer tutoring (helping teens with special needs) and child development. I've been a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters for 3 years mentoring a girl in elementary school. I have also been a part-time nanny through out my college career (for a 2-year-old with autism and a 6-year-old). I have a strong background in speech and language development in babies and children. I also am proficient in American Sign Language.
