About Lana

Lana was my au pair from December 2020 to June 2022. She was hired to help support my two young girls, age 1.5 years old and 4 years old, during the height of the pandemic. Lana was the only other adult in the house helping to care for my two girls, besides myself. She helped the girls get ready for daycare by helping them change, feed them breakfast, help with tooth brushing, while also preparing their backpacks for the day. Lana’s afternoon/evening responsibilities included playing with the children inside or taking them for long walks outside. She would help bathe the two girls twice a week. During her time, she changed diapers and help with potty training my oldest. She also helped with light housework, related to the girls, such as the girls’ laundry and straightening up their rooms and their play area. Lana was a wonderful addition to our home. She connected very well with both girls. My girls loved her and still miss her. I appreciated that Lana was able to adapt her approach with my girls in a way that made her requests fun and interactive, rather than just asking them to listen to her requests. She was careful of their safety and of ours, especially during the pandemic. Lana continues to be a very thoughtful and respectful friend to my girls. I highly recommend her for any childcare position.
