About Lalia

I have a strong and varied career in theater and education. I have been working with children of all ages from diverse backgrounds and abilities for years both in private settings and in the school system. I have seen the power that theater has ; the power to build confidence and courage . I have taught Dance, Theater , Acting, Improv, Spanish , Reading, Art , Composition, stage combat, and tutored in math, science , english and social studies. I have written and directed children's theater, I created and ran a children's art summer camp for 6 years and have worked with young people with disabilities through Multnomah county . I draw was from all these experiences in all that I do and take great pride in helping kids to grow . I always, always laugh and make sure the kids are having fun and feeling good about themselves. I am experienced working on ZOOM and confident to use other platforms. Currently I am directing the Girls Empowerment Project.
