I have a strong and varied career in theater and education and am currently finishing my masters degree in education. I have been working with children of all ages from diverse backgrounds and abilities including ADD, ADHD and those on the spectrum for years both in private settings and in the school system. I have taught creative arts and academics, I have written and directed children's theater, I created and ran a children's art summer camp for 6 years and I created the Girls Empowerment project while working with young people with disabilities through Multnomah county . I recently finished a three year position as teacher for a home school group. I have experience with seniors living with dementia/alzheimers as I currently support my 90yr old mom as she lives alone and still finds joy in her life. I always, always laugh and make sure the kids and seniors are having fun and feeling good about themselves. I look forward.

Lalia is an absolutely wonderful teacher and care provider. She has a calm, gentle, yet firm style. She wrangled my three restless elementary kids with grace and skill during a very difficult year. She is so creative and my children loved the projects and little moments of noticing or creating that Lalia incorporated into her time with them. She was completely reliable and trustworthy and I can recommend her without reservation.
