Hello! I'm La'Kya a dedicated professional with a background in nursing , culinary and over a decade of experience as a nanny and babysitter. My journey in childcare began during my nursing education, where I gained valuable insights into child development and health. Over the past 10 years, I've had the privilege of working with families of various backgrounds and age groups, from infants to pre-teens. I'm passionate about creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive. Known for my patience, reliability, and strong communication skills, I strive to build trusting relationships with both children and parents. During my spare time, I am a Personal Chef/Caterer . So if any meal prep is ever needed I am more than happy to provide the service. Also being a Culinary teacher for 2 years I have an experience with lesson planning as well as planning activities/trips.
