Thank you for taking the time to find out a little about me, a caregiver in the Richmond area. Most of my experience as a nanny has been while providing before school morning care (15+ years) and throughout my experience working in child care, I have also been regularly providing care for families in the evenings/weekends on an as needed basis.
I have a clear criminal and drug background check and am a non-smoker. I have my own reliable transportation with current TDL and insurance. Up-to-date on flu shot, Tdap, MMR vaccines. References and Care background check available upon request after phone or in person meeting and mutual interest.

Laila is very kind and so thorough! She always makes sure to follow our kiddos schedule and asks questions for clarity, which I really appreciate. Our two little ones have taken to her super quickly and are always excited for her to come over to watch them. I always feel very confident that they will be well taken. She is smart and patient and has great instincts when it comes to caring for our boys. I would recommend her to anyone needing childcare.

We've been lucky to have Laila as our babysitter for the past year, and she has been absolutely wonderful. She's always quick to reply, very professional, and incredibly kind. Our kids love spending time with her because she actively engages them in fun and meaningful activities like arts and crafts, trips to the park, and visits to the library.

We recently had her stay with our kids for five days and five nights, and everything went incredibly smoothly. Knowing they were in such caring and capable hands gave us real peace of mind.

She strikes a perfect balance—she’s loving and nurturing, but also firm when needed, especially at bedtime. With two energetic boys who love to wrestle, we really appreciate that she’s able to keep them on their bedtime routine!

She’s also extremely reliable and flexible. We’ve had last-minute needs—even calling her at 10 p.m. the night before—and she still showed up at 8 a.m. ready to help. In all the time we’ve known her, she’s never canceled on us.

We truly feel so fortunate to have found her and couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Laila has been watching our kids for years and is very sweet.  The kids are so comfortable with her and love when she comes over.  I also love how professional she is with text follow ups and confirmations.  Highly recommend. :)

Laila is a lifesaver. Our 4 yr old son F. loves her and she’s so sweet with him. She shows up on time, is extremely professional yet caring, and always goes above and beyond to ensure F. is taken care of. Our son has sensory processing disorder which Laila helps with and tries to get him to engage more with normal activities. We have used her multiple times and will continue to do so. She has sat for us when our power went out and we knew F. would be safe with her until we got home. Absolutely love her. 

We are so grateful to have found Laila. She has been caring for our daughter since she was an infant and is now almost 3 years old. Since Laila started sitting for us, she has maintained a high level of professionalism and attention to detail, but is always a wonderful, nurturing presence for our daughter. She is considerate, punctual and polite, and we could not be happier with the exceptional level of care she has continued to provide our family. Our daughter always has the best time with her and we are thankful for that peace of mind. 

Laila is absolutely amazing; when I first found her on care.com I knew from her profile and the other reviews that she would be a great fit for my family. From our first visit, I was impressed by how professional and thorough she is to detail and obtaining the information about my child. My 4 year old son absolutely loves her and literally runs to the door every time she comes over to care for him. She is always punctual, is mindful of the instructions I give, and has this amazing spirit about her. I will absolutely continue to utilize her services for my family for years to come. 

Laila has been watching my boys for about 3 years now. She’s punctual and very good with them. Laila has also done overnight care with the boys. She’s attentive and the boys are always excited to have her around.

Laila has been such a blessing to our small family. She was the first non-family member to watch our little one and she's done a fantastic job time and again. She's even great with our very excited dog. Laila is very thorough, personable, and is dependable.

My kids really enjoy her and look forward to when she comes to "play with them," as they call it. I really appreciate both the quality care she provides for my kids and her professionalism.

Laila has been a great asset to our family. We initially hired her through Care.com as a weekend evening babysitter, but when the pandemic closed our kids daycare, we asked her to also help take care of our kids while we worked each morning. She is always on time, takes great pride in her work, and is a great communicator. We are able to stay in constant touch throughout the day. I love her creativity and all of the fun activities and arts projects that she helps plan every day. Our kids always look forward to her arrival and are sad when she has to leave each day.  She will take great care of your family- we have been very fortunate to have her help us in our time of need.

Laila is a great babysitter! My kids love her. I appreciate how she is reliable and has amazing  communication with me about each child. She tidies up during her shift which is great too. Laila is thorough with getting directions for each child so that she takes care of them the best way. I highly recommend.

Laila is a responsible, dedicated sitter. She takes her profession very seriously and is always very attentive to my children. They love her very much! She has been a huge help for our family and we are so thankful to have her as a resource to watch our children.

I've never had a babysitter in the 9 years we've had kids actually take the time to do a phone interview to get to know my kids and our family routines PRIOR to the arrival. Laila is extremely professional, does exactly as asked, and my kids thoroughly enjoy their time with her. My husband is very particular about certain things, and even he is happy with Laila's attention to things like tidying up the kitchen after dinner. I appreciate that she goes the extra mile when so many of the sitters we've had in the past don't.
