About Laiken

Hi! I'm Laiken! I have my bachelor's degree in elementary education, and most of my working life has involved kids in one way or another--from teaching fourth grade and tutoring to teaching swim lessons. I'm a big believer that kids don't need to spend the whole day on a screen to have fun. I'm the person who will turn a random afternoon into a trip to the library or pool, bake something together, pull out a craft, go explore outside, or let the kids come up with our next adventure. And because I'm a teacher, I'm always happy to help with homework, reading, or those school projects everyone suddenly remembers the night before! I'm CPR and First Aid certified with years of water-safety experience. I'd love to find a family I genuinely click with and kids I can get to know, have fun with, and become a consistent person in their lives.
