About Kyra

Hello! I am a Stanford University graduate with 9 units of Early Childhood Education and 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. I am certified in CPR and first aid for infants, children, and adults. I have enjoyed working as a paraeducator, assistant daycare teacher, and camp counselor. My strengths include academics as well as arts and crafts. I believe in child-led learning, learning through play, and the ability of every child to excel! I am going into education because l learn from children's optimism, wonder, and curiosity. I believe in providing a safe environment in which children can explore the world through play and experimentation. I'd describe my personality as energetic, understanding, and creative. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, go rock climbing, make art, and sing! I am also starting graduate school this year, where l will obtain my Master's in education and my teaching credential.
