Hi friends!! My name is Kyra and I have been watching children for 10 years in many different environments. After I graduated high school, I began working for the Ymca as a childcare supervision. I have 3 years of experience working as a caregiver for a nonspeaking, autistic teen. I have a year of experience as a Spellers method provider where I taught nonspeaking individuals of all ages to communicate via a letter board. I am passionate about helping children and providing a safe, comfortable, yet exciting environment!

I hired Kyra in 2021 to work in our Kid Zone at the YMCA. She was amazing from the start. She can relate to children of all ages and abilities, remains calm in all situations and has a friendly and outgoing personality. The parents love her and miss seeing her face everyday. She ended up running my summer camps for 10 weeks with 20+ children everyday and always with a smile on her face. She had to leave because she moved but remains on a substitute basis to help when she can. As far as an employee she is one of the best. She is on time, would fill in whenever I was in a crunch, helped train new employees and got along with everyone. She is so great with the kids and anyone would be lucky to have her. If my children were still young I would hire her in a heartbeat!
