hello families! I'm a career nanny and postpartum doula student looking to join a family beginning in late September/early October. I have years of experience with children of all ages, but my passion is supporting infants and their families throughout the first year of life. It's such a special and rewarding season, but it can also be exhausting and overwhelming- especially for first time parents. My goal is to provide calm, nurturing care while helping your baby thrive, so you can feel confident they're in loving, capable hands. I am open to daytime or overnight work. I'm very experienced with safe sleep practices, baby-led weaning, developmental milestones, establishing routines, bottle preparation, and creating an engaging environment for little ones. Ky'Ona has been taking care of our now 8 month old baby fulltime for the past three months, as well as occasionally babysitting our 2 year old too. She has been perfect in every way. From day 1 we felt so comfortable and she has been so caring and thoughtful. She worked hard to keep our baby entertained and loved, keeping him engaged with books and music, taking him to the local library every day, and so much more. We can't say enough nice things. Our two year old also immediately took to her and always gets so excited when she babysits. It's so clear she has a true passion for childcare. We are so grateful and lucky we found her!! And now our giant grown up baby is off to daycare, but we'll absolutely have Ky'Ona babysit anytime!
