About Kylie

Hi, my name is Kylie, and I am a postgraduate student at Texas Tech. I have been caring for children from a young age and have always been the responsible older cousin and neighbor. With young siblings at home, I often helped care for them, giving me valuable hands-on childcare experience. I have continued building my experience working with children ages six months to 11 years, including children with special or behavioral needs. I genuinely love working with children and enjoy educational play and following their interests through child-led imaginative play. I also have an educational background in childhood development. I am creative and imaginative while valuing communication and comfort. I believe consistency in expectations is important, so I am dedicated to following household rules. I value communication with parents and learning family's routines, priorities, and parenting styles to provide consistent, thoughtful care.
