I take a "mother and baby" centered approach to care, prioritizing emotional safety, attunement, and support during early/new motherhood. My first job after graduating was as a Spanish medical interpreter. On my very first day, I was called to interpret for a birth. The woman sounded terrified, but no one else understood her. I'm now a certified birth doula and babysitter because I believe women deserve to feel safe, supported, and advocated for in their choices. I was an au pair for a year in Miami, Florida, where I supported a professional family with a baby starting at 3 months old.
