As an experienced and loving babysitter, my philosophy for children is that they should spend their childhood off screens and out experiencing the world and fostering human connection. I love to spend time with kids and get to know them for their unique personalities, some favorite things the kids I sit for like to do include bike rides, story time, and nerf wars. I love children of all ages and have experience working with toddler ages to late elementary schoolers. What I have learned is that kids, like all people, love to be loved, so I work hard to bring a positive and friendly attitude, but at the same time know when to put the foot down and say no to too much screens or sugar. Kylie is an absolutely outstanding care provider for children. She puts forth a lot of effort to engage with them and think of creative things they’ll like to do. She has a personality that can connect with children of all ages. She is not one of those babysitters who just puts the kids in front of a screen. And she’s not a screen user when she has childcare responsibilities. She enjoys teaching kids whatever they’re interested in, loves playing games with kids, and is genuinely concerned about their welfare, so she doesn’t let them eat junk food or candy. She is aware of what a healthy diet and a good night’s sleep entails. I wish I had Kylie as my babysitter when I was a kid!
