About Kylie

Hello! I have professional experience in childcare, pet care, elderly care, mental health, and disability support. I currently work as a respite care provider for children with disabilities and previously worked as a job coach for adults with developmental disabilities. I have experience caring for children ages 6 months-17 years through nannying, preschool, before/after-school care, and summer care. In preschool settings, I led small group activities including sensory play, reading, math, and art, and I also have potty-training experience. I am a non-smoker with a reliable vehicle and four years of experience safely transporting children. I am CPR/AED/First Aid certified and QMAP certified, with training in medication knowledge and administration. I have supported individuals with a wide range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, Down syndrome, FASD, psychiatric disorders, physical disabilities, and nonverbal communication using AAC devices.
