About Kylene

Hey there! My name is Kylene and I have a passion for working with children in the quest for knowledge! I began school when I was 3 years old, which was when I was immersed in the art of reading! I went on to be self taught from the age of 7 and after many years of advanced scores in state testing, I had the opportunity to test into college early at age 15. I received my first degree at age 18 and went in to earn a second degree at age 21. Although neither of my degrees focused on childhood development or education, I have experience with special needs kids, both on a personal level(as my sister had a variety of developmental and cognitive challenges), as well as in a medical setting working with children with a variety of special needs. I believe education is extremely important and can open up a variety of options for a child's future!
